Producer/Artist at Koastal Kings Records
• Currently resides in NYC studying Jazz Composition at Manhattan School of Music.
• Also has been playing jazz trumpet for about 10 years.
I’ve been rapping ever since I was in elementary school. I was rapping a the first verse of OutKast’s "The Way You Move” in the lunch line and I caught everybody’s attention and it all went up from there ever since. As for producing, I started making beats my freshman year in high school. I caught the attention of ABreezy, one of the artists on KKR now, at a benefit concert for the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake at a coffee shop thanks to a mutual friend. That led to connecting with Snow, being SX2’s “official producer” and we’ve made hits.
As for future projects, I’m working on a sequel to my first album I released independently called Rhythmic Jargon aptly named Rhythmic Jargon II that’ll drop in 2015. I put more of an effort in finding myself through my lyricism and opening up to my listeners more in this project than I did in Rhythmic Jargon and that’s what I feel is going to make it a classic. I’m also working with SX2 and their EP, which will be my first full project production credit and I’m unbelievably excited for that. I’m also planning to release a jazz record, too.
I couldn’t think of better people to work with than the people at KKR. Everyone’s been friends with everyone for a really long time, so the chemistry between all of us is genuine and the work flow we have with each other is truly amazing. That seems like a rare thing in the music industry nowadays. Plus, a solid bond behind the scenes makes solid music!
